LACUSPA is dedicated to assisting each member school and its employees with meeting institutional, divisional, and
departmental missions and objectives. Programs such as the complimentary drive-in workshop and annual conference
provide professional development essential to gaining knowledge of best practices and strategies that are proven at
Louisiana colleges and universities. December 31 marks the end of an operational year for LACUSPA. Here are some
of the benefits, your institutional membership will
provide:
- Complimentary attendance to the drive-in workshop (all employees)
- Reduced registration fees for the annual conference and partnering conferences
- Eligibility for positions on the LACUSPA Executive Board and working committees
- Access to the LACUSPA quarterly newsletter and other publications
- Opportunity to submit program proposals for conferences
- Connect to a network of student affairs professionals across the state
The LACUSPA Board approved the following schedule for 2023 Institutional Membership Dues:
Schedule Based on Student Enrollment
- Up to 5,000 enrolled students - $50 annually
- 5,001 -10,000 enrolled students - $100 annually
- Over 10,000 students - $150 annually
Associate membership is available for prospective student affairs professionals who have been recommended by LACUSPA board members. It is also for student affairs professionals who wish to hold an individual membership if their institution is not a member. Associate membership is $75 annually.
Emeritus membership is available for retired/ former student affairs professionals. There is a one-time, lifetime fee of $75 for emeritus membership.
